1980s Maitland-Smith Tessellated Stone and Brass Pedestal Table Base

I have never seen this before! Believed to be custom made by Maitland Smith, the pedestal base has vertical lines of brass. Impeccable condition. The glass oval top shown is how the original owner had the table displayed and comes with the base. However, you can use your creativity to make a completely new top!
